Middleweight Hospitality Designer

B3 Designers are looking for an experienced Middleweight Hospitality Designer to join our team. The role will involve collaborating on interior projects from initial concept strategy through to development, detailing, FF&E specification and delivery of final stages with the wider team.

B3 Designers create enduring luxury hotel & restaurant brands. We collaborate with clients to develop brand strategy, brand identity, stunning Interior design and brand communications that give guests and our clients a memorable experience.

We are an inclusive, collaborative studio consisting of multi-disciplinary designers with locations in London, Glasgow and Nantes. We believe in a culture where everyone’s ideas and passions are nurtured and where being curious together keeps us inspired in our devotion to great design.

Key skills required:
– Strong conceptual skills
– Excellent design and spatial planning skills, with good knowledge of design detailing and specifications
– Confident using Vectorworks & Adobe suite. Knowledge of other programs – Sketch Up and CAD also welcomed. Proficient using Mac, MS Word and Excel
– Confident in front of clients, contractors and Project Managers
– Confident developing design presentations together with a team
– Ability to produce hand drawings
– Confident producing schedules for FF&E and Material specifications
– A minimum of 3/4 years professional experience in hospitality design preferable


Tasks will include:
– Assisting Senior designers on projects from concept development to completion
– Production of drawing packages & schedules
– Regularly liaising with suppliers
– Creating sample boards and researching concepts
– Assisting with creation and delivering of presentations
– Sourcing and procurement of FF&E and soft furnishing samples and items

– Keen eye for detail and a thorough work ethic
– Ability to think conceptually
– Confident with the administrative aspects of design
– Adaptable, flexible and able to work within a small company
– Team player with positive attitude
– Amicable personal with drive to succeed and lots of initiative
