The Dental Lounge, London
Dr Surinder Hundle, official dentist on Channel 4’s 10 Years Younger presented by Nicky Hambleton-Jones and Gok Wan, has used B3 Designers to create two of his dental spas in London.
The Dental Lounge on Old Brompton Road, was to be a relaxed and welcoming space to make experience of visiting the dentist a more enjoyable event. To achieve this, B3 have used warm and unexpected materials such as exposed brick, sand cement and walnut. These were mixed with acid etched backlit glass, ceramic tiles and stainless steel in order to still project a professional, clean image.
The waiting lounge ceiling is dotted with large old fashioned carbon filament light bulbs which can be seen from afar through the large glass shop front. The waiting lounge also acts as a dispense bar where healthy drinks are served.
