With a long, narrow space to work with, getting the restaurant layout design absolutely right on this project was essential.

But with most of the budget being used for upgrading the infrastructure we had to be very minimal with the interior and clever with the restaurant layout design.

We created a light, spacious environment by installing a new window opening; using light colours throughout; and natural oak wood flooring and green slates.

We raised the floor level at the back of the restaurant to create a flowing, open space. And installed feature lighting on the back wall which acts as a focal point and can be seen from the street.

Careful design ensured that the entrance bar could be used as a reception, a holding bar and a dispense bar.

Special attention was paid to the restaurant layout design to make the most of this unusual space. The result was an elegant and modern Italian restaurant right in the heart of Kensington.
