The brief to B3s restaurant designers: minimalist and modern but keep the unique Memories of China atmosphere.
Part of the Belgravia fabric, this famous, and notorious, restaurant has been a destination for celebrities and Belgravians since the 1970s. Our challenge was to give the space a fresh, contemporary look without losing the essence of the restaurant or the long term clientele.
Our restaurant designers used traditional red and white throughout the space but in a very modern way. The walls were painted with Chinese characters, which were also etched on to the glass. The cut circular doorway and textured wallpaper gave the simple design an interesting twist.
We created an elegant, modern, minimalist interior which reflects the new China. And is still extremely popular with the local and celebrity community.
