Aubaine Selfridges, Oxford St

Brief

The brief was to continue to develop the Aubaine restaurant brand, which combines provincale, rustic France with a contemporary ambience. The design for Aubaine needed to sit well within the fashionable, bustling ladies shoe department in London’s Selfridges. The Aubaine restaurant brand is also very flexible offering a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere and all-day dining.

Results

The Aubaine atmosphere has been maintained and further developed to sit perfectly within the shoe department. Mirrors were introduced around the kitchen area to make the site appear wider. A French country style floor tile has been established, adding to the identity. We brought plants into the window boxes, which create a rustic, outside appearance and draw patrons to the back of the site.
